The Majestic Hotel is one of Co. Waterford’s leading hotels and this became very apparent as I was being shown around the hotel. I’d already visited the restaurant here, some weeks previous, but hadn’t ventured any further than the bar area until the day of my official visit to the Majestic. I could clearly tell and it became very apparent quite quickly, that the family who owns the property are very passionate about their offering and they haven’t been frugal in any way shape or form when it came to the decor and furnishings in either the bedrooms, or the public facing areas. So, whether you’re planning a romantic getaway, family holiday or your own business in the area, whatever the reason and in my professional opinion, you’ve picked the right place to stay. Another great asset to this hotel is their perfectly sized car park along with electric charging stations.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT

Having already endorsed this hotel for its high quality accommodation and communal areas and if you’ve already seen their reviews about their food, you’ll know, that I couldn’t not tell you about their menu and friendly restaurant staff for that matter. If you're looking for something a bit more formal, then the Garden Room is absolutely perfect. What I like so much about this restaurant is that you can dress up, or dress down if you like? Then there is the lounge area which is absolutely perfect for those of you just wishing to have an afternoon tea or a cake and coffee, whilst having a chat with your friend. Then there is the informal lounge Room, a relaxed and laid back atmosphere is to be had by all in here. Being only a stones throw from the vibrant city of Waterford and all its attractions this hotel has it all.
