There are farm shops and cafes popping up all over the British Isles, some good, some not so, but here at Mannerstons, they are becoming the business that sets the benchmark of just how this type of business should be ran. This award winning bakery, cafe and ice cream Parlour has been turning heads since they opened back in 2015 and the level of trade that walks through their doors on a weekly basis, similar businesses have taken years to get to their level. The food is all locally sourced, served relatively quickly, yet freshly prepared, which isn’t an easy task, believe me. I was lucky enough to not only sample their fresh coffee and perfect Scottish shortbread, good enough for any tin, but their ice cream really was a treat and is also winning awards. The Faulds family really have created a wonderful place here and you won’t be disappointed.
