Kells Bay House Accommodation

We have 4 very special rooms available in the main house. Our guests can relax in comfort and style while taking in the beautiful surroundings, as these large rooms have spectacular views over both the gardens and bay. The rooms also have full en-suite facilities (The Vogel Room has a private external bathroom) and free access to the gardens for all of our guests.

All guests have the full use of the Main House to relax in the Lounge / Dining Room during the day and the Gardens during daylight hours.

Breakfast is served in the Dining Room from 9:00 to 10:30am

Cots can be provided for those needing one (please book in advance).

The Alexander Room – Superior Room

The Alexander Room is the largest and grandest of the beautiful rooms within the house. This bedroom has three windows, affording the guest magnificent views of the gardens and Kells Bay/ Dingle Bay, as well as the Mountains across the bay.

The guest can enjoy these spectacular views without even getting up, as the super king size double bed is conveniently situated facing the windows.

The room has an extremely large en-suite bathroom, which has both a free standing bath and power shower for your comfort.

The Blennerhasset Room

This is another large room, with views of the Bay and Gardens, as well as the mountains across the bay.

The room can be set up as either a twin room or a super king double bed, and is an ideal place for 1 or 2 people to stay.

The large en-suite bathroom offers both bath and power shower for your comfort.

The Preece Room

This is a large double bedroom at the back of the house, with a king size double bed, overlooking the lush green foliage of the woodland gardens.

The spacious en-suite bathroom offers both bath and power shower for your comfort, and there is a large walk-in wardrobe adjacent to the bathroom.

The Vogel Room

This bedroom is situated to the front of the house, with wonderful views of the Bay and Gardens, as well as the mountains across the Bay.

The room can be set up as either a twin room or a super king double bed, and is an ideal place for 1 or 2 people to stay.

The large private bathroom offers both bath and power shower.

Bell Tower Suite

This large one bedroom suite, suitable for two people, is situated on two floors. This Suite is accessed via 12 cut stone steps to the rear of the House. The entrance hall opens to the kitchen/dining room. Off the kitchen is a comfortable living room. Both these rooms have excellent views over the gardens to the bay. The stairs in the Living Room lead you up to the Bedroom, with its super king-size bed (also available as a twin room). This is the highest room at Kells and enjoys three different aspects of the gardens and bay. The bathroom is situated on the 1st floor. A separate Utility room is off the Kitchen to store and accommodate the washing machine and Dryer.

Garden Suite

This ground floor suite has a spacious living / kitchen room, hall, bathroom with shower or bath, 2 interlocking bedrooms with 1 super king-size double and 1 double bed. This apartment comfortably accommodates up to 4 people.Bed options can be either 2 doubles or 1 super king-size double and 2 singles (please specify at time of booking).

Dingle Bay Suite

This large Suite is situated on both the ground floor and first floor. Generously proportioned, it has entrances to the front and rear of the apartment. There is a separate kitchen/dining room and a large Living Room. Also on the ground floor is the hall area and a large bathroom.

Both bedrooms are located upstairs, with 1 bedroom having 2 single beds and the Master bedroom with 1 super king-size double and 2 single beds with an en-suite bathroom. Both of the bedrooms have spectacular views over the gardens and Dingle Bay. This apartment comfortably accommodates up to 6 people.

This apartment can also be set up with 2 super king-size doubles and 2 singles (please specify if you require this configuration at the time of booking).
