Melin Tregwynt
Review
“The dark threads are as needful, in the weaver’s skillful hand, as the threads of gold and silver, in the pattern He has planned.” C. ten Boom.
Shining bright like a pearl amidst a hidden, faraway valley and close by the panoramic Pembrokeshire coast path in West Wales: Melin Tregwynt keeps the tradition of Welsh weaving alive and thriving. A popular destination for visitors from all around and passed down through three generations, the company has now evolved into an employee ownership trust, so why not take a tantalising trip to see the looms in action, and watch as a variety of Welsh woollen wonders become beautifully woven into life. Specialising in unique fabrics and simple, stylish clothing, accessories, bags, blankets, throws and cushions which are all available at the mill shop. There’s also a great cafe offering light snacks, plentiful lunchtime meals, (which includes a fabulous Sunday lunch too) children's menu, and a luscious selection of extra special cakes and scrummy treats.
