Mill House B&B
Nestled by the River Wyre, the property has a beautiful weir, from where you can sit, relax and watch the wildlife. Home to a variety of species, if you stay a while you’ll be rewarded by much activity. There’s usually a Heron busy catching fish year round. Summer time sees the blue flash of the Kingfisher, the dipper as well as enchanting damsel flies and dragon flies. A hedgehog may wander by at dusk, and you could also catch a glimpse of water voles and mink. Guests can take a walk around our gardens, which look lovely in bloom over the Spring and Summer months. Alternatively, if you wish to get out and about there’s plenty of things to do in the local area. Situated in the heart of Lancashire, it’s also a perfect base for visiting the Lake District National Park, the Forest of Bowland and surrounding countryside.
