Having stayed at this hotel myself, I can personally vouch that the Mount Rooms, based in the Sunny Seaside town of Barry, is most definitely worth every penny of your money. The owners have spent a huge amount of money in renovating this once tired building and they haven’t skimped whatsoever. The bed was comfortable, Wi-Fi was spot on and although limited, there is a number of parking spaces in their car park. There is a great little restaurant downstairs, alongside their well stocked bar, so if you fancy a tipple before retiring to bed, you can enjoy the company of one of their very friendly members of staff. I really enjoyed my three days here and I found it to be the perfect base.
