Mr Villas Fish & Chip Restaurant & Oyster Bar
Mr Villa’s Fish and Chip Restaurant and Oyster Bar is celebrating its first anniversary at the Knap in Barry so it was an appropriate time to see what it has to offer. The owners, Beppe and Christine Villa, have 35 years of experience in the restaurant trade with sea food dining their speciality. The restaurant provides a wide range of fish dishes, but non-fish too. It has the bright, cheerful décor of a seaside fish restaurant in blues and whites, colourful vintage travel posters and bleached white wood panels. I’ve always enjoyed sea food courses because they tend to be filling without being too heavy. There’s a wide choice of starters and main courses on the menu for meat as well as fish lovers, along with a ‘specials board’.
