Mulranny Park Hotel
Review
The west coast of Ireland has to be one of the most romantic places I've ever visited. Each destination I have chosen for this book exudes a unique romantic charm, and the Mulranny Park Hotel is certainly no exception. Nestled in the heart of Co. Mayo, this hotel holds a special place in history, having hosted none other than John Lennon and Yoko Ono in 1968. I had the incredible fortune of staying in the very room they occupied, an experience that added an extra layer of enchantment to my stay.
The views over the bay from the hotel are truly breathtaking, a panorama of natural beauty that stays with you long after you’ve left. Watching the sun set over the water, casting a golden glow across the landscape, is a sight I will never forget. Every detail of the Mulranny Park Hotel speaks to its four-star rating, and if it were up to me, I would award it an additional star for the sheer magic it offers.
The culinary experience at the hotel is nothing short of extraordinary. As a lover of lamb, I was thrilled to find it on the menu, sourced locally from just up the road. The dish was prepared to perfection, each bite a testament to the quality and care put into the food. It was a meal that complemented the romantic ambiance of the hotel perfectly.
From its historical significance to its stunning views and exquisite cuisine, the Mulranny Park Hotel encapsulates the essence of romance. It’s a place where love stories are written against the backdrop of Ireland’s wild and beautiful west coast.
