Muncaster Castle
Review
The Lake District if you already didn’t know, is a large area and spans itself all the way over to the west coast and I cannot mention this region without talking about the Western Lakes. Here on this side of the region, sits the absolutely wonderful Muncaster Castle and with so many things on offer to do here, I can’t recommend a visit enough. With its Himalayan Gardens, Lush Bluebell Woods and one can’t forget the Hawk & Owl Centre complete with its really entertaining flying displays & bird of prey experiences. This is just but a few of the many things on offer here at Muncaster and I literally could of stayed here all day! I think it also worth mentioning the fact that Muncaster Castle is a haunted castle and has various haunted events going on throughout the year. 141 I found the staff really friendly and the entrance fee is very reasonable, miss this attraction at your peril!
