The National Forest Adventure Farm offers exciting indoor fun, outdoor adventure and farm animals. The farm hosts many events throughout the year including Easter Activities, huge summer Maize Maze, spooky Halloween daytime fun, scary night time Halloween Screamfest and Christmas celebrations. The National Forest Adventure Farm started life as the National Forest Maize Maze back in 2004. Each year has grown and grown until the Adventure Farm opened as an all year round attraction in May 2011. The National Forest has the ambitious goal to transform one of the country’s least wooded regions into a new forest for the nation is happening in the very Heart of England. More than 200 square miles of town and countryside straddling parts of Leicestershire, Derbyshire and Staffordshire are being dramatically transformed by this ‘Forest in the making’.

Review

Having visited hundreds of attractions during these amazing years of the putting together of this popular range of books, I've got to see someone of the best and some of the not so good farm parks that the British Isles has to offer. It has to be said, that the National Forest Adventure Farm is one of the best examples of farm parks that I've seen in England thus far. The site is just the right size and with a prefect number of animals, you can literally spend as little, or as long as you like here! The staff are extremely friendly, the entrance fee isn't extortionate in any way and with a huge range of daily activities, I witnessed even the adults walking round with huge smiles on their faces, which for an attraction that is based mainly around children, that's no mean feat. All in all, I had a great time here and I have to say, NFAF is most certainly one of the regions leading attractions!
