Get closer to over 130 of the world's rare and exciting creatures at the award winning Newquay Zoo! Keeper talks and animal feeds happen throughout the day but if you want to get even closer, our animal experiences give you the chance to meet and feed our cheeky Lemurs or friendly Penguins. If that isn't enough, we have activity trails, face painting, a children's play area and Dragon maze to keep people of all abilities and ages occupied.You will need to keep your energy up too, so why not grab a snack from Lemur Café, our summer BBQ or Tippy's Snack Bar.

I've visited a huge number of Safari Parks, Zoos and also Farm Parks during the putting together of this great range of books, and as a huge lover of all animals, I loved visiting them all. Newquay Zoo opened its doors in 1969 and what's so impressive, is those doors have never closed since. This award winning zoo has something to offer every member of the family and being Cornwall's largest zoo, means there has to be one of your favourite animals here. I visited the zoo in the summer of 2013. Usually I would just spend a couple of hours in each attraction that I shortlisted, but I spent 4 hours walking around here and just couldn't tear myself away. Newquay Zoo offers huge value for money and the visitor experience on offer is massive. Being located right next door to Newquay's Waterworld you could make a whole day of it here.
