The visitors dining/sitting room has a woodburner for chilly evenings, and has a good selection of board games, books & magazines.We are situated on the edge of rugged Bodmin Moor, with its stunning scenery. The moor is great for walking, watersports at Siblyback Lake and horseriding. Within a 10 minute drive of Penharget, there is a choice of country pubs serving excellent food. The nearby market town of Liskeard also has a selection of restaurants.The National Trust properties of Cotehele, on the banks of the River Tamar and Lanhydrock, near Bodmin are within easy reach, as are the fishing villages of Looe & Polperro. The Eden Project and beautiful north Cornwall beaches are only a 45 minute drive. The maritime city of Plymouth is 30 minutes away and offers something for everyone-the Barbican and Plymouth Hoe, a multiplex cinema & 10 pin bowling and the recently built Drakes Circus shopping mall.
