Review

“The more you dream, the farther you get”. Michael Phelps.

Plas Madoc Leisure Centre in Wrexham, North Wales is already the proud winner of the Social Enterprise of the Year and has recently secured funding from the Welsh Government to completely refurbish the pool changing rooms. This latest addition compliments and completes this wonderful swimming pool and sports centre which has a fabulous tropical lagoon pool, slides, gym and climbing wall. Tiny tots can gain their confidence in the expansive shallow area of the pool with junior slides for added squeals and fun. A large slide and wave machine provides extra delight and entertainment for all, which can all be viewed by family members from a large seating area. The staff at the leisure centre are all extremely polite and patient and a friendly little café selling drinks and snacks is very handy too. Weekly swimming includes ‘Aqua Aerobics’ ‘Little Splashers’ ‘Over 50s’ Parents and Paddlers plus general and swimming lessons.
