Plas Tan yr Allt Historic Country House
Review
“Come with the starry beams, my love, and press mine eyelids with thy kiss.” M.Shelley.
The history behind Plas Tan yr Allt Country House, reads like the roll call from a blockbuster movie, with intrigues, ghosts and even an attempted murder, (albeit a couple of hundred years ago!) So with such a rich and fascinating background of events, you and your partner can be sure of an unforgettable experience. The historic, award-winning, luxurious Country House is beautifully set in 40 acres of ancient woodland. What was once home to romantic poet Percy Shelley, has been completely and carefully refurbished with dedication by the current owners. Their tender, talented fingers have created three opulently appointed bedrooms, filled with sumptuous period features, and captivating sprinkles of antiques and treasures. Despite its grandeur, there’s a lovely home from home, relaxing vibe throughout that includes the highly recommended award winning restaurant conveniently nearby. Why not come and write your own love story!
