Raglan Farm Park
Since the Williams Family threw open their barn doors to the public in June 2016, Raglan Farm Park has quickly grown to become a firm favourite for young and old alike. There’s so much to do…and so much room in which to do it! We have over 25,000 sq foot of undercover indoor space, with 7 ‘soft play’ themed areas. Play areas cater for age ranges from 18 months to 11 years. Outside there are zip wires, swings, slides, roundabouts, trampolines,
‘ride-on’ tractors and go-carts! There are ‘astro-turf’ paths around the park, so, even if the ground is damp, you won’t be! We are proud to announce that, in 2108, we were awarded the ‘Visit Wales’ quality visitor assurance standard too. New for 2019, a classroom, where we now host visits with an educational theme. We can tailor this to suit your requirements. Topics covered include ‘The Seasons’, ‘Where does our food come from?’, ‘Planting and harvesting crops’, as well as some practical exercises… It won’t be all work though! There’ll be the opportunity to ‘let off steam’ in our play areas. Subject to approval from the school, we will supply a leaflet with some questions for the children to try and answer. When the weather permits, ( usually the Summer months), we will also operate a tractor ride around the paddocks at Raglan Farm Park.
Review
I’ve visited a huge number of farm parks, some huge, some really small. But one thing they all have in common, is their love for their animals and this can’t be seen any better than here at Raglan Farm Park, in Wales’s Wye Valley region. The Williams family have put their heart and soul into this business and this very rustic farm park deserves more than a standing ovation. On the day that I visited, I saw first hand just exactly how much they’re love they have for they’re animals, is at the heart of everything they do, as whilst I was on my tour with the owner, he got called away to do an emergency delivery of a lamb, but I wasn’t the only one lucky enough to experience this, as they do live lambing most days of the lambing season. I know your going to have a great time here, but don’t just take my word for it, go see for yourself!
