The Red Squirrel Campsite is a camper’s dream, nestled as it is in a valley in Glencoe, Argyll. Surrounded by wilderness, peaks and rivers, there is beautiful scenery to behold everywhere and many nature trails to take you exploring. There is plenty of wildlife for spotting, and the site is opposite where Hagrid’s hut once stood…Glencoe is incredibly beautiful and there are gorgeous views of the loch from this location. The staff here is friendly and helpful and the ablutions are neat as a pin. The perfect place to truly relax, swim in the river or take that hike. Ballachulish is not far away, making this a great place to base yourself for a tour of the west coast, whether in a tent or a camper van.
