Review
There a lot of steam railways in Wales but only a few make it into our Top 100 attractions. The Vale of Rheidol Railway's main purpose was carrying lead ore and tourists right from the outset and been a major tourist attraction. Briskly chugging through the Vale you could quite easily cast yourself back to Victorian times, and see exactly what they would of seen in this largely unspoilt valley, taking you all the way to another Top 100 Attraction, Devils Bridge and Falls a marriage made in heaven for over a hundred years. The railway is a registered charity and every penny you pay for your ticket gets put back into making sure this railway continues to carry tourists for another hundred years.
