Rollestone Manor
Rollestone Manor Bed & Breakfast is a beautiful, grade II listed privately owned historic home on the outskirts of Shrewton, close to the World Heritage site of Stonehenge.
Some of the features of the originally built house of 1242 are still seen today, and in 1700 the front façade was created - where the front door is today. The ‘newest' part of the house is the three story extension, completed in 1839!
Today, all of our seven en-suite bedrooms, named after some of the many owners of the Manor, offer comfort and quality whilst having their own individual style. Modern features like digital TV and radio, iPod/iPad docking stations and power showers compliment the family antique furniture and period features that have graced this home for years. One of our rooms is on the ground floor, ideal if the steep staircase to the first floor will cause difficulty.
Take pre-dinner drinks in our lounge, benefiting from the log burner, or on a warmer day, enjoy the sunshine on our garden swing seat.
Our restaurant at Rollestone Manor is open to non-residents. Booking is recommended, and we serve food from 6.30pm - 9.30pm seven days a week. Affordable, relaxed, comfortable!
We are ideally located on the edge of the village of Shrewton just under 2 miles from the World Heritage Site of Stonehenge and minutes from the A303, with easy access to the cities and towns of Salisbury, Southampton, Winchester, Bath and Marlborough.
We, Cyrille & Paula and the staff look forward to welcoming you to Rollestone Manor.
ll of our 7 ensuite bedrooms offer comfort and quality whilst having an individuality of their own. They are all furnished with the antique furniture which has been in this home for years and which compliments the period features found here.
We have seven bedrooms which are kingsize, double and twins and one of them has a four-poster bed.
Modern day comforts are available and all rooms benefit from multi channel TV, DVD/CD player, radio, iPod/iPad docking station, complimentary WiFi and tea & coffee making facilities.
We have 2 rooms which are suitable as family rooms for those with small children. If you require accomodation for a large party we are able to offer a combination of rooms so you are situated near each other. Cots and highchairs are available on request.
We also have a ground floor room which can be arranged as either a king size double or a twin room.
