As I drove up the curvy road with nothing but Irish countryside either side of me, I knew I’d made the right choice choosing Rossroe Lodge as one of my romantic destinations. I imagined a horse and cart taking this same journey a hundred years ago when there was no road, or maybe with Charles de Gaulle when he came to hide at a local hotel close by, from the prying press. When I arrived, the views were just, if not more breathtaking. Mary & Sylvain, were both there to greet me with that Irish hospitality that the Irish are so famous for. You get a hotel service here for B&B prices and having been in hospitality for many years, both Sylvain & Mary really know how to look after their guests.
