Rotunda Museum
Review
The Rotunda Museum is located in Scarborough, North Yorkshire, and opened its doors in 1829 as one of the first ever purpose-built museums. It is filled with fascinating artefacts from millions of years ago and exhibits different fossils from all around the world - ideal if you are interested in collecting fossils. They also have mesmerising galleries and great displays of interesting as well as plenty of information about the geology of the Yorkshire coast’s marine life. The experts and knowledgeable guides around the museum will happily answer any questions you may have. There is so much to see at this charming, quirky museum and so much that people of all ages can enjoy. The museum is wheelchair friendly and fully accessible to all, as well as breastfeeding and support dog friendly. It is certainly worth the visit.
