The Secret Garden is a family run business that has been operating in South Wales for the last 20 years. With the largest range of plants and plant related items in the area you'll always find something new and exciting for your garden. Come and visit our brand new houseplant heated glasshouse. A wide range of houseplants from big foliage plants to the small delicate flowering ones to the beautifully scented indoor jasmines. The original farmyard is now the entrance to a fantastic garden centre with a massive range of plants of all types for your garden.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff are on hand to make sure you find exactly what you want. Opened in 2006, our custom built glasshouse provides over 1000 square feet of covered area where you can find a range of tropical and exotic plants for the conservatory or the house , features ranges, glasshouse etc. Within the Garden Centre, Sally's Tea Rooms offers a delightful place for eating and drinking.
Throughout the many editions of the Top 100 Attractions range of books, garden centres don't really feature that heavily. This isnt because I don't like them, it's merely because as a rule, gardens centres are just exactly what they say they are, centres for buying garden stuff. However dotted all over our fine land are garden centres that really do stand out from all the rest. Secret Garden is just exactly one such garden centre. Situated only a stones throw away from Abergavenny and nestled perfectly within the South Wales Valleys, Secret Garden really did take me by surprise. From every day plants, to those of the exotic and tropical, around every corner there is something to wow every green fingered tourist. All garden centres worth their salt feature a place to grab a coffee, but here at the Secret Garden, Sally's Tea Rooms is the order of the day. Freshly baked cakes and the smell of great coffee, and that's before mentioning the great food on offer.
