Shemore & Shantron Holiday Cottages

Accommodation

Review

Shemore offers you a home-from-home experience, with its clean modern feel and breath-taking views from the cottage itself. The sister cottage to Shemore, Shantron Holiday Cottage sleeps up to 8 people. Shemore is a lot cosier (sleeping up to 4) but what it may lack in size, this cottage more than makes up for in personality. Everything has been thought of ahead of your stay at Shemore and with underfloor heating and newly double glazed windows, you’re in for a comfortable stay; in fact, the only thing you need to remember to bring is your food, clothes, and of course yourselves. One thing you’ll have to leave at home however, is your four legged friend. This being a working farm, it’s just not possible to bring them with you this time. Nevertheless, Shemore is a fabulous place and you will be glad you gave them a try.

Shantron Holiday Cottages

Having featured Shantron’s sister cottage, Shemore, we already knew that Shantron was going to be of a very high standard. Family-owned by mother and daughter team Ann and Kay, who have been in this business for many years now, there is no stone left unturned to ensure you a super stay. Shantron is traditionally decorated, and is a very comfortable and inviting place to stay. Having been fortunate enough to be shown around both of the cottages here, we have to say that we are very impressed with what we saw. One thing that we always tell our readers is that you should never stay away somewhere that isn’t up to the same standards that you enjoy at home. You certainly won’t have any problems of that nature here. Prices are reasonable and the entire family is friendly and welcoming; you will be arriving a guest and leave as a friend.
