In this year's assessment (2014) by Visit England, the property has been awarded 4 Stars with Silver Accolade, 'For High Quality Accommodation and Customer Service'. Our hygiene inspection by the Food Standards Agency resulted in their top rating of 5.
We are just 12 minutes from Junction 25, M5 Taunton, a few minutes from the A303/A358 junction at Ilminster and 15 minutes fromTaunton Racecourse.
Somerset Bed and Breakfast is located at the foot of the Blackdown Hills, designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There is easy access to the beaches of Devon, Dorset and Somerset (for instance, 30 mins to Lyme Regis) and the many local amenities and attractions.
Although dating from before 1742, the house has been extended and completely renovated to a very high standard. It is situated in a private, no-through, picturesque, country lane, where you can expect attentive service that won't intrude upon your privacy.
