The ethos has remained the same - Streamvale Open Farm is here for families to enjoy and learn about the countryside; to experience the sights and smells of a real farmyard; to have the opportunity to get up close to the traditional farm animals which have been part of our heritage for centuries.
There is a full spectrum of farm animals - from chicks to dairy cows, baby bunnies to massive pigs and lots of fun thrown in as well. The mini farmer areas give children lots of space to burn off energy pedalling around on toy tractors and all the family love to cuddle the small animals and of course feeding times have been a firm favourite for decades.
In Northern Ireland a lot of families have no longer a link to our farming base and Streamvale Open Farm allows everyone to feel part of the daily farming life that supports our economy. The fact that this farm continues to produce food makes it an authentic visitor attraction and provides interest for the families who want to get up close to animals and also those who have an interest in the rural economy and our local history.
