I've visited a huge number of cities, towns and villages throughout Britain and just when I think I couldn't be surprised any further, I visit a place that really does amaze me, Symonds Yat East was just that sort of place. Perched suitably within the Wye Valley, this village is most certainly a village with two identities. On one side it is a village which is away from the hustle and bustle of even country life, let alone city life, and the other side to this village is one of fun and water based activity. Being only a few miles away from the Welsh Border yet situated nicely in Herefordshire, Symonds Yat East also offers the best of both worlds. With a few nice hotels and popular restaurants, a trip to this part of the UK will definitely not disappoint. But don't just take my word for it! Pack the car up and go and see for yourself!
