Review

The village of Abermule lies upon the bountiful and curving River Severn, Northeast of Newtown, Powys. Situated within this charming village we find the bright, welcoming original brick work of The Abermule Inn. This friendly, popular pub is a former coaching inn which continues to offer scrumptious food and excellent beverages to travellers. There’s a genuine lovely warmth to this little jewel, not just that the food is totally yummy, but you feel you’re welcomed and made to feel truly at home. With a proper choice of real ales, the interior design of the pub is spacious, spotless, bright and airy, with an outside seating area and nearby caravan site, The Abermule makes a great destination for tourers. Serving Sunday lunches, tempting dishes from the menu include Pan seared sea bass, 10oz aged sirloin steaks, melt-in-the-mouth Cider battered cod, with choices for vegetarians.
