What a beautiful, brick chic pub! Yes there is such a thing. This traditional establishment was established in 1787 under a different name and continues that sense of old worldliness with a cosy feel and a trendy, delicious, fresh pub menu. You will find them between Harrogate and York in Nun Monkton, North Yorkshire. They serve lunch, dinner, coffee and drinks, and an exceptional a la Carte menu. In winter the mood is set with log fires and an extensive wine list. In summer there is outdoor seating available and plenty of space for children to play - and your dogs are welcome, too. Group bookings can also enjoy the magic in their barn, which can accommodate up to 30 people for that special occasion. The Alice Hawthorn also offers 12 magnificent rooms employing the same attention to detail and service that they have practiced for years in their pub and restaurant.
