The Bear Inn is located in the lovely town of Llandovery, and the grade II listed building is highly attractive and welcoming. The food is purely vegan & vegetarian and absolutely delicious, so good is the
food, carnivorous will not miss the meat! The Bear Inn is also dog friendly in certain areas of the pub, and with their food being vegetarian with a Asian twist, you'll find something to suit all tastes.
Their food isn't just limited to an Asian theme by the way, you could also pick up a hearty bowl of Vegan Welsh Cawl, in fact the menu is extremely varied. The Bear Inn has a wonderful atmosphere largely due to a great team, headed by Kirk the general manager, you couldn't be in better hands.

The standard here at the Bear Inn is so good, we not only featured them in the accommodation section of our Wales book, but the restaurant section also. This grade 2 listed building is abundant with stories, and over the last 200 years, has been utilised for many different situations. It was even a chemist once upon a time,however it is most famous for being a fantastic pub. With four well furnished rooms to choose from, the owners Martin and Hai have spared no expense when renovating this charming iconic Welsh pub. With Kirk the general manager at the helm, nothing is too much trouble for them, mark my words, you'll be in safe hands. With only four rooms, booking in advance is advised.
