The Cross Foxes-Erbistock
Review
“Fair river! in thy bright, clear flow of crystal, wandering water, thou art an emblem of the glow of beauty-the unhidden heart.” E. A. Poe.
Bright, beautiful countryside, and flowing crystal waters, creates an atmospheric backdrop to the traditional country pub; The Cross Foxes at Erbistock. Situated upon the banks of the River Dee: the pub was originally built in 1748 by the William Wynn Estate, and retains many of its fine, original features, providing a perfect place to sit back and enjoy some fabulous food, locally brewed drinks and resplendent views. At the helm are the three highly skilled Martin brothers; a trinity of gifted, consummate chefs from Chester, who understand exactly how to provide customers with the perfect pub experience. Blending the charm of a time gone by, together with a contemporary, superlative cuisine; the Cross Foxes presents the elegance of a fine dining restaurant. Flickering log fires and the glow of candlelight, conveys a blissfully romantic atmosphere of intimacy and decadence.
