The Crown Inn
The Crown Inn in Llantwit Fardre known, fondly in the area as ‘The Crown’, has been serving the community as the ‘local’ since 1851 according to the census of that year. During the decades since, landlords and landladies have come and gone, the colour of the outside and the furnishings inside have changed, but the pub still remains a major part of the community. fine food is available at reasonable prices, ranging from a simple lunch or a Sunday roast to a special evening menu and occasional events. There is also a separate specials board and children’s menu. There is a special ‘Steak Night’ on Saturdays when you can get 10% off the price of any of our steaks. A function room is available for larger parties. Real ale is available at the bar along with a good selections of ciders, lagers and a great wine list, including a few cheeky numbers from the southern hemisphere.
