If you want a truly unique experience, the Drovers Inn is exactly where you want to be. This beautiful hotel is set right at the top of the Loch Lomond, in what used to be the Highland drovers’ Inn, from which they would lug their cattle down the side of Loch Lomond to the markets. From the moment you arrive, you become immersed in the established Scottish heritage and hospitality. The owners at Drovers Inn have gone beyond to provide their guests with a cultural journey from the moment you set foot through their doors. The restaurant offers excellent traditional Scottish food, the décor and furnishings seem to be somewhat unchanged and add to the ambiance and atmosphere. They have live music every weekend, of course, accommodation in either their main house for an authentic, quirky stay or in the lodge, which offers a more conventional experience.
