The Dudley Arms Hotel
The Dudley Arms is a traditional Welsh village inn nestled within the Berwyn mountain range in picturesque Llandrillo on the B4401 between Corwen and Bala.
The Dudley Arms is full of character and charm with many period features and exposed oak beams. The stone walls and tiled floors along with cosy fires help make your visit a special one. There are many walks to enjoy and also further afield, fantastic places to visit such as Llangollen, Snowdonia and Chester are not too far.
Eat
At the Dudley, local ales and fine wines are plentiful alongside freshly cooked food. Our meat is supplied by our friendly butcher T J Roberts of Bala and our fresh vegetables are delivered by Dee Valley Fruit and Vegetables in Llangollen. Our food is home-cooked and hearty and we change the menu regularly to reflect food in season. However, one item always on the menu is the home-made Steak and Ale pie - a proper plate filler and very popular through all the seasons! You can eat in the bar or for a special occasion, we have a small restaurant that seats around 20 which is also available for private functions.
Sleep
The old Bakehouse is our 2 bedroom cottage to let. You can stay in the cottage which has a kitchen with fridge, hob, washing machine, dining space and TV. The ground floor bedroom has twin beds and upstairs is the double bedroom and are very peaceful. There is a bathroom and big wardrobe on the second floor. All linen and towels are provided. We will shortly have 2 double en-suite rooms ready for Bed and Breakfast.
Relax
There is so much to see not far from the Dudley. Llangollen, home to the internationally known singing competition, the Eisteddfod and the Pontcysyllte aqueduct, built by Thomas Telford. The national Watersport centre at Bala is 8 miles away, Snowdonia country park, adventure at Zip World and the new attraction, Surf Snowdonia. If you just want a pint and a bite to eat in welcoming surroundings, this is the place!
