I have to say, I was that taken aback and impressed with what I found here at the Enterkine Country House Hotel, I had to give them a full page, just to give them any justice at all, as a 150 word review in the 'Sleep Tight' section, just wouldn't of cut the mustard. Made up of a selection of rooms and suites and a woodland gatehouse lodge, this Hotel simply has it all. Millions of pounds has been spent on making a visit to this country house hidden gem, one that will never be forgotten and their newly built wedding venue if simply out of this world and fit for any wedding, big or small. The venue itself has a restaurant and a bar, so no matter what the reason for your visit is, you will be catered for superbly.

Here at the Enterkine, no expense has been spared when it comes to both quality and style and that has been helped mostly by the hotels new owners. Being seasoned hoteliers, they know I'll well what people expect and they have invested heavily into making sure that your experience will be one that will be repeated time and time again. There is another experienced member of the team and that is their head chef, David Picken. David has a very varied resume and his team in the kitchen are wholly responsible for adding to the culinary experience within the hotel and I having spent some time getting to know David on the day of my visit, he dispels all misconceptions that you may have about chefs. Not only is David a polite and friendly guy, he is so passionate about the food he and his team deliver on a daily basis, also making sure that all of the food where possible, is locally sourced and all of good provenance.
