The Fat Boar Wrexham

Eating Out

The Fat Boar, Wrecsam is a stunning new independent restaurant and bar in the heart of the town. We’re proud of our Wrexham heritage and our contemporary interior brings together solid wood, original features, contemporary lighting and vintage furniture alongside iconic images from our beautiful local countryside and even some of the glory days at the Racecourse Stadium.

You’re as welcome to drop in for a drink as you are to dine. We’ve got a range of speciality coffees, a range of real ales, an extensive wine list, cocktails and a huge list of gins as well as everything you’d usually find behind a bar, all served in stylish, comfortable surroundings by our friendly and knowledgable staff.

Our large A La Carte menu uses the finest local Welsh produce to create a range of delectable nibbles, light bites, modern classics and traditional favourites. As firm believers that ‘fresh is best’ our menu changes every month to include the very best seasonal flavours (so there’s always a good excuse to pop in and try something new!).

We also have a programme of live music, speciality themed evenings, afternoon tea and, of course, a fabulously festive Christmas menu. If you need to combine business with pleasure, you can use our free wifi and we have laptop charging points throughout our bar.
