Eating Out in North Yorkshire
Author's Review
Situated approximately 20 minutes’ drive north of York in the lovely village of Coxwold in Yorkshire, you will find a 17th-century Coaching Inn that offers one of the best examples of Yorkshire hospitality in terms of overnighting and dining. The Fauconberg Arms comprises of a pub, a restaurant and eight en-suite guest rooms. Each room is uniquely decorated, in keeping with the period of the building, to the highest standards and are rooms all dog-friendly (at a small extra charge). The restaurant serves exceptional food with generous portions that use fresh local ingredients to create country food with a sophisticated touch. The pub is also character-filled and offers hand-pulled ales and fantastic ‘pub grub’. This charming spot is available to book for the perfect wedding venue or family celebration. They always have something exciting on the go; be it quiz evenings, Burn’s evenings or masked balls.
