Fish and chips has been the nation’s favourite for decades now and when it comes to Largs, their is a new kid on the block, that is not only cooking fresh fish and well, but they’re winning plenty of awards for it at the same time. The Fish Works is owned by husband and wife team Tiffany & Ross Irvin and they have turned this part of the promenade into what can only be described as a food mecca! That’s right, people are coming from as far as Glasgow to taste their delicious delicacies and that’s no exaggeration. I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Tiffany and she is super humble about what they have both created here, which I found really admirable. 123 All the fish comes freshly caught daily and all within the shores of Scotland, which is not an easy thing to be able to claim in today’s present climate.
