The Fleece Inn is a gorgeous pub and restaurant in the quaint little village of Holme, near Holmfirth in West Yorkshire. The pub features a selection of cask conditioned beers and wines from all over the world. The owner, Shirley, celebrates her twentieth year running this establishment at the time of this going to press. This is a remarkable achievement considering the exceptionally high standard that she has maintained in all things service and product related here. The restaurant’s menus offer an enormous variety of utterly delicious dishes; each one made with loving care using only the freshest of locally-sourced ingredients. They draw inspiration globally without forgetting the excellence of local seafood and produce. There is a pantry shop (the only one in the village) stocking daily essentials as well as take-away, chef-prepared meals and award-winning pies for those staying locally. The Fleece also has a lovely holiday cottage available to rent as well.
