The Restaurant
Dining is such a gastronomic experience at the Game Cock Inn. Our restaurant serves award-winning food to suit everyone’s taste. We offer traditional English, French and Mediterranean dishes. The warm and cosy atmosphere of our restaurant will make you want to stay longer, enjoying the food and drinks at your own leisure.
The Bar
We are a Thwaites pub, serving a good range of traditional cask ales. Our bar attracts a number of visitors as it is a place where you can expect good conversations, choose from a wide range of wines and beers, whilst lounging in a relaxed atmosphere with warming log fires. Dogs are most welcome in the bar area, too!
The Inn
We provide a charming and cosy B&B accommodation throughout the year. There are 3 double rooms and 1 twin room available, complete with wash basins, TV, coffee or tea making facilities. The large house bathroom, which comprises of a bath, WC and separate shower, is located at the end of the hall. All rooms are furnished and inviting, making sure you will have a delightful stay
Getting there…
The Game Cock Inn is situated in the very small Yorkshire Dales village of Austwick, less than a mile from the A65. There is easy access to the M6 motorway (18 miles away) and wonderful countryside right on the doorstep.
We are ideally placed for walking, cycling and photography and for relaxing in the peaceful surroundings.
