The George and Dragon Hotel is based in the little market town of Kirbymoorside in North Yorkshire and is run by a family who have established a name for themselves for great management and an unobtrusive, relaxed style. This hotel, pub and restaurant delivers both for the day visitor happening by for lunch, as well as for those who wish to overnight while exploring the Yorkshire Moors and surrounds. The accommodation is reasonable, well appointed, traditional and clean with a choice of 20 en-suite bedrooms. The food at this award-winning establishment is of a very high standard and they stick to the principles of good Yorkshire hospitality by serving locally-sourced foods which are brought freshly cooked to the table by well trained staff. The pub is a delight; sporting local real ales, a super selection of wines, and a delectable range of gins. It is also dog-friendly!
