The Greyhound Inn

Eating Out

Review

Broughton-in-Furness, is a cute little village in the Western Lake District area and situated within the village is the Greyhound Inn. Under new management, they really have put themselves on the food map in the local area and with a long cooking pedigree to speak of, Samantha really has brought a bit of flair to what would normally be just your usual pub fayre. I think it’s also worth mentioning that the Greyhound Inn has a small number of bedrooms on offer and all reasonably priced for those not wanting to be within the honey pot that is Windermere, Ambleside or some of the other central Lakes villages and towns. Or for those not wanting to pay the crazy prices that come along with some of those busier areas accommodations. I was equally impressed with the men’s toilets here and the deodorant and aftershave is a really nice touch!
