Right on the banks of the canal sits this historic pub and restaurant, the Hanged Man. They are a family-run bar with a mission to provide guests with a unique and special experience. Pat, the owner, is always present, welcoming guests warmly and going out of his way to ensure all needs are met. They offer something for everyone; plenty of food options, a great range of wines and beers, and friendly, attentive staff. Their food is made from fresh, sustainable and locally-sourced ingredients, prepared with passion, presented beautifully, and served with care and friendliness. They offer their venue for private functions and parties and cater up to 80 guests. This place is a hidden gem; excellent food, brilliant service, great pints of Guinness and a divine atmosphere. You couldn’t ask for more at this gorgeous countryside establishment.
