The King Arthur Hotel,

Eating OutAccommodation

Touched by legend on exquisite Gower, The King Arthur is a delightful traditional country inn. With its log fires and cosy restaurant, it has a relaxed and friendly old pub atmosphere. The King Arthur is found nestling under Cefn Bryn, Gower's highest point. The hotel is family run and consists of two bars, a restaurant, eighteen ensuite rooms, a small barn conversion cottage and our breath taking banqueting hall Avalon. Rooms at The King Arthur Hotel come with a TV, a writing desk and tea and coffee making facilities. They comprise a bathroom fitted with a bathtub and a shower.

The pub consists of a main bar with its original stone work, reclaimed timbers and open log fires in the winter. The Gower Room, our family room is a nautical themed room displaying local maps, original artifacts and photographs of Gower's nautical history. Finally a cosy traditionally decorated restaurant. We are renowned for our warming home cooked food suited to all tastes. Choose from dishes on the main menu or “specials” board including seasonal game and locally caught fish. All meals are served in the restaurant, Gower room, main bar and fine summer days at outdoor tables on the green. We try to source as much local and welsh produce as possible for our menus. To compliment your meals we offer a varied and reasonably priced wine list with a good selection available by the glass.
