Located within Hawick, Scottish Borders, The Laurels is a lovely Victorian town house built in 1880 with picturesque views across the valley and Hawick (the home of cashmere).
Our two ensuite guest rooms are newly upgraded with very comfortable king size beds, tea & coffee making facilities, hair dryers, ironing boards, freeview tv and WiFi.
The Laurels is just a short walk (five to ten minutes) to restaurants, shops and entertainment in the town centre. For those without transport, the border buses run to all local towns plus the city of Edinburgh.
There is also a direct train service from Tweedbank (Galashiels) to Edinburgh, a journey time of under fifty minutes. We offer a courtesy collection and drop off service for those guests arriving without transport at Tweedbank railway station. We offer a secure locked facility for both Bikers and Cyclists.

Hawick is also central to scenic gardens, historic homes & castles plus golf, fishing, cycling, horse riding & walking trails in abundance. The Northumberland National Park is a 30-minute drive away the coastal town of Berwick Upon Tweed is just one hour.
