The Lion at Malpas
Review
Si and Chrissy Lees Jones are extremely proud of their pub, The Lion, situated in the leafy village of Malpas. This charming couple has every right to be proud too, after years of dedication, attention to detail and loving care. The historic pub has received significant renovation and refurbishment, and now provides visitors with a truly home from home environment. Of course, it’s better than home, as all you have to do is relax by one of the roaring fires, enjoy a piquant appetizer, (or two) and decide which delectable meal you fancy from the extensive, seasonal menu. Prepare your palate for an outstanding treat, the food is locally sourced, spanking fresh and luscious, with unusual, delightful twists. You also have a glorious choice of impressive rooms, which are exquisitely furnished, combining past and present features from the original Tudor building
