We are a family run business owned and managed by the same team that also owns PorterHouse.SY1 and Darwin’s Townhouse.We are here to make sure all of our customers feel welcome at any time of the day, whether it’s to have a breakfast meeting, quick coffee and cake, after-work drinks or to indulge in an evening of fine wines and great food.Our menus enable you to have a casual bite to eat with a range of small plates and sharing boards or celebrate a special occasion with our more a la carte main courses; and we offer ‘Host your Roast’ on Sundays alongside our Traditional Shropshire Roast Striploin or Roast Rack of Local Pork.We look forward to welcoming our regulars, local businesses, friends and family and of course our new neighbours and customers.

The Loopy Shrew was opened in November 2015 after an extensive refurbishment as newest addition to The DiTella Group. The bar and restaurant design is sympathetic to its central location in the town by using natural materials and with a clever use of space creates a sense of warmth and comfort.

The restaurant uses fresh, local ingredients (where available) to create a sense of British culinary delights, coupled with an extensive wine list to really reward the senses.

The rooms are completed to a high standard, full of great touches and unique charm. Each individual boutique bedroom has it’s own name indicative of the streets around the town. Completely and unmistakably evocative of the “Town of Flowers”, Shrewsbury.
