Review

“A glory of gold and russet and grey, the tree-tops old, glow in the day; and, one by one, the dry leaves fall, and the Autumn sun smiles on them all.” Unknown.

The Old Rectory Bed & Breakfast, and Self Catering holiday cottage, is serenely settled amongst miles of rolling hills and meadows. Positioned right on the periphery of Clocaenog Forest: a hidden woodland jewel, that’s home to birds of prey, and the last remaining populations of red squirrel in Wales! Built in 1832, the Old Rectory B&B has been consistently awarded 4 stars from Visit Wales, and is just 4 miles from the historic market town of Ruthin, and close by to Llyn Brenig, Alwen Reservoir as well as the beautiful Snowdonia National Park. Guests receive a cordial welcome, and are made to feel truly at home in this stunning, spotlessly clean B&B, that provides a relaxing, elegant escape for you and your loved one. Divinely decorated, rooms are furnished and well equipped to a high standard, and there is also a wonderful opportunity to enjoy some fresh and fabulous food.
