The Old Smithy B&B
Review
If you are looking for a perfectly private B&B where your every need will be met by your attentive hosts, then look no further. Sarah and Andy have created a haven for two, with a dressing room, en-suite and all the mod-cons. It is also the perfect base from which to explore the surrounding countryside, and of course the historic market town of Knaresborough – which is only 3 minutes away by car. The 18th century (Grade ll listed) Old Smithy has been sensitively remodelled to a wonderful standard, and being the only guests there, you will find that your hosts will be easily accessible should you need them for advice, directions etc. while not being underfoot. They have ensured that your stay feels exclusive – and to just help time melt away for a while. It helps that they are super people who are prepared to go the extra mile. The breakfast on offer here will probably mean that you won’t need to eat again until dinner.
