Hidden in a basement below The Commercial Rooms on Corn Street, The Ox is a bastion of simple, top notch, British fayre. Situated in the heart of the Old City, you'll find a menu packed with the choicest cuts of prime steak and tasty, meaty morsels. Our butcher likes to think that our steaks are the best in the city and when you've tasted one cooked in our charcoal oven we think you'll agree!
As a cousin of cocktail bars, Hyde & Co and The Milk Thistle, you'd expect to find a fancy concoction or two and you won't be disappointed. Our cosy bar area is available for pre dinner drinks & nibbles.
Our kitchen is now open for Lunch from 12.30pm - 2.30pm, Thursday - Friday
Dinner from 5pm - 10.30pm, Tuesday - Saturday
Sunday Roasts & Bloody Mary's every Sunday from 12pm - 4pm
