The Shore House in Lochgoilhead, Argyll, has a magnificent lakeside setting against a wooded backdrop with soaring mountains in the distance. The loch-facing lounge with its deep, well-stuffed couches is a pleasant room to relax and appreciate the views. When the weather permits, you may want to sit on the terrace and just enjoy being outdoors. The centrally heated en-suite bedrooms are spacious, light and friendly, some with loch views. They all have the modern facilities that render a stay in a rural area comfortable. Breakfast is an optional royal treat (see website for details) as you could select a full, cooked breakfast with many choices or a Continental one.Evening meals may be ordered beforehand from a menu offering home-cooked meals.
