The Silver Mountain Experience bubbles over like a glittering, magical cauldron of history, myths & legends! Situated in the western Cambrian mountains of Mid Wales, just outside Aberystwyth, the site is based at the beautifully preserved
Llywernog silver lead ore mine. Tickets include access to their mining museum, surface attractions and a choice of actor-led tours. Young visitors can enjoy the Dragon’s Tale adventure, taking the little ones on an exciting expedition, which involves following the clues, cracking the codes to find a bashful, mysterious dragon, called Grotty. For the brave of heart you can descend into the deep, dark, blood curdling Black Chasm: a hideous history of terrible mining conditions, terrifying creatures that’s definitely not for the under 10’s. Get ready to enter this magical world of fun and mystery.
